These fireshields are made from silicone impregnated fiberglass cloth, webbing edged with hanging grommets.

I was using one for a floor mat on a moose hunting trip. As I was lighting a lantern it burst into a ball of flames and I dropped it to the floor. It burned until I got the gas shut off with no damage to the tent.
