We started making these for Tim Smith owner of Jack Mountain Bushcraft. They are built to specs he provided I believe from The Humanure Handbook. Add a seat and a 5 gallon plastic bucket partially filled with hardwood sawdust or shavings and you have a low cost, low tech, composting toilet. I think we used to call that a HONEY bucket.
